GREETINGS FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Welcome to the website of the Ioannis Saralis Foundation. 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of 1982, when the teacher and scholar Yannis Saralis from Aristi bequeathed part of his fortune with the intention of promoting the cultural heritage and protecting the natural environment of Zagori. Since 2006, we have been implementing the benefactor’s wishes, having taken the legal form of a charitable foundation under the name “Ioannis Saralis Foundation”.
Now, the values and actions of the Ioannis Saralis Foundation are also promoted online thanks to the implementation of a regional CLLD Leader project, which included the conversion of the benefactor’s traditional house into a Library. We are pleased to invite you to browse its contents, discover our activities and browse our digital library.
